Duties and Skills Required

Operations Manager (Security Services)

Basic guaranteed salary offered: £29,700

Reporting to: Director

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager in Security Services your responsibilities could include:

Assisting Director in management and supervision of junior staff
Analyse client contracts, security requirements and assign and supervise tasks to ensure adherence with client obligations
Monitor and propose improvement of security services including training of staff and handling of any assigned security equipment
Fulfil security duties assigned by the Director
Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets
Ensuring all aspects of the required security services are being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract
Managing your area of responsibility, including providing support, absence management, discipline and grievance, and recruitment activities
Effectively setting out goals and objectives for your team
Acting as a role model and always behaving in line with our company values
Driving employee engagement by personal interaction and engagement with junior staff to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities
Ensuring there are sufficient trained, and vetted staff always working to meet customer and contract requirements
Developing professional customer relationships, responding appropriately to customer requests and concerns
Completing effective health & safety assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of any incidents, involvement in subsequent investigations and providing input into health & safety committees or forums.
Completing risk assessments and site evaluations as well as completing monthly performance reports and billing schedules

Office Manager

Salary: £31,000

Weekly working hours: 37.5 hours

Job description:

Maintain accurate and complete financial records of the Company using computer and manual system.
Ability to advice on the handling of all correspondence and enquires relation to accounts.
Manage filing systems and ensure accurate and speedy recovery of data and records.
Ensure company policies and procedures are monitored and up-to-date including business insurance, H&S, onboarding etc.
Distribute received company information as required.
Establish and maintain quality records.
Coordinate with technical representative, business development executive regarding monitoring of all necessary security equipment.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires and address employees queries regarding office management and company policies.
Ensure that all necessary budgetary and statistical information requested is supplied both timely and accurately.
Ensure administrative/secretarial support for all activities of the Company including enquiry handling, taking and reviewing minutes of meetings.

The ideal candidate will be expected to perform duties including:

On a day-to-day basis deliver high quality proactive HR support, guidance and advice to line managers and employees on the application of company employment policies, practises, processes, taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
Advises on training and recruitment, negotiating procedures, salary agreements and other personnel and industrial relations issues
Deliver effective training and learning solutions to serve a range of business needs and the achievement of business goals.
Ensure to develops and recommends policies for personnel and industrial relations
Support the creation of a culture of continuous learning, upholding and promoting the stated values of the company.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with line managers and employees, contributing to the achievement of business objectives and the strategic aims of the company.

Developing professional customer relationships, responding appropriately to client requests and concerns regarding quotes, future service orders and post-completion queries with a new to attracting more business.
Liaise with senior staff to determine supply of services demanded by customers. Deliver a positive experience.
Maximise opportunities of sales by advising clients on services on offer. Advising client on budgeting and payment methods.
